We have been 35 year customers of Stephens Heating and Air. Over that course of time, we have called each time we’ve had a problem with our heat pump. Few times, considering its age. The response has always been prompt, effective, and with the knowledgeable professionalism that only comes with experience. Today, the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, the temperature nearing 100*, our cooling quit. My husband called at 7:00pm, truly not expecting help tonight, hoping to get on the call list. Within 20 minutes, a technician was knocking at the door. The problem was easily resolved with a part the technician had on the truck. Our heat pump has been the best money we have invested in our home, and Stephens has kept it going for many years now. Today’s emergency is not the first, such things are never convenient, but each time, we felt that Stephens cared about our comfort and has given us service beyond our expectations. I wouldn’t purchase a heating or cooling unit anywhere else.

We recently had a leaky furnace and reached out to Stephens H&AC for a second opinion after a different contractor came and diagnosed the issue as a cracked heat exchanger without even taking apart the unit. We initially asked Stephens H&AC for a quote, and instead they sent Al, geared up to fix something. Not only was he a joy to talk to, he immediately got the knee pads out and took apart the unit. He quickly identified the issue ( a leaky condensate line), replaced it, and then checked the condition of the rest of the furnace. In terms of responsiveness, the office manager was able to schedule him the day after we called, and he showed up on time. While repairing the line, he gave a few tips for maintaining the unit. Super helpful. I think Al has seen quite a few HVAC units in his day, and definitely has the expertise to get issues resolved. Thank you!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I couldn’t find anybody local to me to help us get our heat working again and with the cooler weather coming I was panic calling everywhere, even places an hour from me. Al just saved the day! We called yesterday morning due to a/c failure right in the middle of the heatwave, and he arrived promptly within the time window we were given.
